| | c'est vrai que Gallien ne mérite pas la légende noire que lui a collée sur le dos l'Histoire Auguste, écrite 120 ans après les faits. Il a dû faire face à la plus mauvaise conjonction de malheurs que Rome ait connu et il ne s'en est pas si mal tiré. En tout cas, beaucoup auraient fait moins bien. |

Thanks Fred. Sadly with work and all the back cataloging I have to do, I don't have anytime to seriously research much. I'm also trying to learn German so I can read Göbl's book, but it is slow going. If I'd only known way back then, I wouldn't have chosen to take Spanish in school.
A future plan is to create a searchable database of the Cunetio data and try to use it to figure out minting dates for the coinage. Cunetio was very precise in assigning the emissions of the mints based on style, legends, size, etc, so I'm hoping I can generalize the data to coins not listed. Of course this may be a dream rather than a plan.

I d like to find the book about the Cunetio Hoard.
I have the one about "le tresor d'Eauze" which can be very helpfull for you too. It's a very good book. My friend Richard Beale (http://sonic.net/~rbeale/mysite/), have find one for me a week ago.
