Sesterce de Faustine II

Salut,

Il y a treize ans j'ai acheté un sesterce de Faustine II.




Légende du droit: FAVSTINA AVG ANTONINI AVG PII FIL
Légende du revers: CONCORDIA S C

Dans RIC je n'ai trouvé aucune pièce correspondant avec le même droit et revers, es ce que je me trompe?
Est-ce qu’il y a quelqu'un qui peut me donner une référence?
Aucune pièce identique dans les ventes non plus...

Ce sesterce ressemble trait pour trait à ce denier RIC 500b (Faustine fille) :


Mais effectivement, je ne trouve pas de référence en version sesterce...

RIC 1372b has obeverse legend: FAVSTINA AVG ANTONINI AVG PII F, my coin ends with ...AVG PII FIL; the reverse although is identical to mine.

F in RIC is a misprint. Cohen correctly gives FIL. This long legend always ends with FIL, not with F as RIC erroneously states.

For the gold and silver coins, RIC gives the correct obverse legend, ending FIL not F (p. 92, legend 6).

It would have helped if you had stated immediately that your coin was like RIC 1372b, but with obv. legend ending FIL not F.
