Bonjour , voici une petite liste conseillée par Brennos  , si vous avez d'autres ouvrages à conseiller avec leurs photos , je vous laisse le soin de les rajouter à la suite....

Sur les conseils de membres du forum j'avais acheté 'La monnaie Grecque' de Franke & Hirmer (Flammarion, 1966) lorsque j'ai commencé à m'intéresser à ce monnayage et je le recommande vivement ne serait-ce que pour les planches, magnifiques.

Il existe de très nombreuses monographies sur le monnayage de chaque cité. Quelques uns que j'ai lus :
- Friedrich Bodenstedt, Die Elektronmünzen von Phokaia und Mythilene, Tübingen, 1981. La référence du monnayage en électrum de Phocée et Mytilène.
- Georges Le Rider, Monnaies Crétoises du Ve au Ier siècle av. J.-C., Paris 1966. Pour la Crete.
- Osmund Bopearachchi, Monnaies Gréco-Bactriennes et Indo-Grecques. Catalogue Raisonné, Paris, 1991. La référence pour les monnaies bactriennes. Très difficile à trouver.

On avait dit qu'on ne se moquait ni ( et surtout pas ... ) des noms corses , ni des franco- sri-lankais....

En tout cas , il a été récompensé pour cet ouvrage et ses recherches ....!!!

C'est un ouvrage très important, qui a établi la chronologie des rois bactriens, vu que leurs monnaies est le seul témoignage qu'ils ont laissé.
