Cela peut être du à la frappe. Ou alors, la surface de la monnaie a été retravaillée, et le relief du bord du buste nettoyé/accentué, pour augmenter artificiellement le relief. Je pense qu'il faut accepter cette deuxième solution. On voit bien que sur certains contours du buste (notamment au niveau du la cuirasse), la patine d'origine verdâtre a été enlevée, avec à la place une patine couleur bronze/cuivre. Ce changement de patine montre une intervention. | |
