Agora Auctions sale 61 has several exceptional coins and rarities and is one of our best sales to date. Our Greek category has an excellent selection of silver fractions including a Thraco-Macedonian tetartemorion with a crouching monkey, an obol from Larissa with Jason's sandal and several unpublished or extremely rare silver and bronze coins.  

Our Roman Republican category has several rarities as well as what is one of the finest examples to reach the market of a C. Marius C.f. Capito denarius. Not to be outdone, our Roman Imperial section has an exceptional sestertius of Vespasian, a beautiful Circus Maximus type denarius of Septimius Severus, an incredible Gratian siliqua and a fantastic follis of Severus II!

Rounding out our sale we have 19 group lots, 113 lots of numismatic literature and interesting prints and 50 lots of antiquities!
